If you’ve not caramelised your bananas yet, then make your way to the kitchen now. ⁣

This caramelized banana porridge is made with sweet and gooey caramelised bananas served over creamy oats. Top with some dark chocolate and bluebs, and you have a winning breakfast/snack/lunch or dinner ?⁣

▪️1 cup rolled oats⁣
▪️2 cups almond milk⁣
▪️2 bananas, sliced into discs⁣
▪️1–2 tbsp coconut oil⁣
▪️1/4 cup maple syrup, divided⁣
▪️1 teaspoon vanilla⁣
▪️1/2 tsp cinnamon⁣


▪️Add the oats and milk to a pot and bring to boil.⁣
▪️Reduce heat to low, add cinnamon and vanilla and let simmer until thickened.⁣
▪️While the oats are cooking, add the coconut oil and 2 tbsp maple syrup to a large pan. Once it is sizzling, add in the sliced bananas.⁣
▪️Cook on each side for about 3-5 minutes, or until nice and golden brown.⁣
▪️When the oatmeal is done, stir in the final 2 tbsp of maple syrup (optional) and top with bananas.⁣
